A Mothers Love

"A Mothers' love is like a circle, it has no beginning and no ending. It keeps going around and around ever expanding, touching everyone who comes in contact with it. Engulfing them like the morning's mist, warming them like the noontime sun, and covering them like a blanket of evening stars. A mother's love is like a circle, it has no beginning and no ending."

Without a doubt, my biggest "accomplishment" so far has been bringing up my three beautiful daughters. As those who know us well will agree, our road up until a few years ago had its times of joy and its times of tears but above all else it has been a road I wouldn't have wanted to travel with any other children!! I look forward with anticipation to travelling the road ahead with you girls ...... You are all so talented and special in your individual ways. I believe you were placed in my life for a reason and I hope to learn a lot more from you. I love you guys as much as a mother can.

I'd Rather

I'd rather be a mother
Than anyone on earth
Bringing up a child or two
Of unpretentious birth.
I'd rather nurse a rosy babe
With warm lips on my breast
Than wear a queen's medallion
Above a heart less blest.
I'd rather tuck a little child
All safe and sound in bed-
Than twine a chain of diamonds
About my foolish head.
I'd rather wash a smudgy face
With round, bright baby eyes-
Than paint the pageantry of fame,
Or walk among the wise.
