Orewa

About 40mins north of us is the quaint little seaside town of Orewa.  We made a trip up there earlier this month, on a VERY cold and windy day....  Orewa beach is lovely with it's wide stretch of sand, unlike our local beaches.  Benji had a ball and as always, the view was worth it.

The windy conditions made it an ideal day for kite surfing and kite go carting...

And a very welcome trip into MacDonalds to warm up with hot drinks.... we sneaked Benji in and nobody seemed to mind/notice...
