Randel chose a family trip away white river rafting to celebrate his birthday this year. We took a day off work and school and started our weekend early by heading down to Rotorua. We all love a roadtrip and the three girls made themselves comfortable in the van on the way down.

We spent our first afternoon in Rotorua enjoying the luge and beautiful view of Lake Rotorua.

Thursday night we enjoyed a lovely pub meal at the Pig and Whistle. The ambiance and the food was great.
And Friday saw us enjoying White River Rafting on the Rangataiki River. What an incredible experience. We all loved it. The water was crystal clear. The scenery was spectacular. Our guide Peter was a hoot and we paddled, laughed, swam and had an amazing family experience on that river. This was most definately an experience we would all like to repeat.
